Rafting in Georgia, Racha region (Oni-Ambrolauri)

   Racha is a perfect mountain area with numbers of rivers and is perfect place to get a total enjoyment from rafting. Hospitable people, unique nature, fresh air and absolutely clean mountain rivers promise you an unforgettable adventure.

    On the way we visit the monastery of Nikortsminda. The Cathedral is on the Tentative List for status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Participants will be held a special training before rafting (20-30 minutes).

    Rafting will be conducted by 6-8 seats standard rafting boats. Every boat is accompanied by a qualified instructor. After instruction we will get down on the river Rioni. After the trip travelers will have a picnic.

• Rafting rout starts from Oni and ends in Ambrolauri (35km);
• The difficulty of the road is III-IV, depending on the season;
• Duration – 2hour and 30min;
• Minimum age of the participants – 14 years.
